Dr. Nidhi Panwar completed her MBBS in 2003 from the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi & did MD (Ophthalmology) in 2007 from AIIMS. She did a long term fellowship in Vitreo Retinal Disorders (2008-2010) from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. She has also attained fellowship from the renowned International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). As a teacher and trainer, she has supervised many Fellows in India.
Dr. Nidhi’s work experience spans for 10 years in several hospitals in India and UAE namely as Specialist Ophthalmologist in Dubai & as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, India.
Her areas of expertise are Vitreo Retinal Diseases & surgeries like Diabetic retinopathy, Macular Disorders including Macular hole, Epiretinal membranes, Lasers in Diabetic Eye Diseases, Intra Vitreal Injections, Vascular Occlusion, Uveal Diseases, Retinal detachments & their surgical managements and Sutureless phacoemulsification with foldable IOL.
She is an active member of several Ophthalmology societies like Delhi Ophthalmology Society (DOS), All India Ophthalmology Society (AIOS), Vitreo-Retina Society of India (VRSI) and Uveitis Society of India (USI). She is also a Life Member of Delhi Red Cross Society.
She has many national publications to her credit and has been an active participant in various academic conferences as a faculty .
