Dr. Nayan Vasa Jayshukhlal completed his MBBS from King Edward Memorial Hospital and G. S. Medical College, University of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and his Master of General Surgery (M. S.) in 1992 from the same institution.
He specialises in General Surgery with clinical experience of more than 28 years.

He has completed many professional courses to upgrade his knowledge such as Advanced Trauma Life Support, surgical workshops, national as well as international conferences, seminars, patient safety congresses and various training programs.
After completing his training in Radio Frequency Ablation to manage Varicose Veins of the Lower Limbs from UK, Dr. Nayan Vasa successfully pioneered the same at NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Ain from December 2014.
He has also been a proponent of 3D - Prolene Mesh implants since June 2015 for Abdominal Wall Hernias like Inguinal, Umbilical, Paraumbilical, Ventral and Incisional Hernias.
He also initiated Endoscopic Surgical Management of Pilonidal Sinuses (EPSiT) as well as complex Video-assisted Anal Fistula Treatment (VAAFT) from May 2016.
His special areas of interest are a wide variety of Advanced General Surgeries especially Thyroid and other Head & Neck surgeries, Pediatric surgeries and Daycare surgeries, Painless Minimally Invasive Treatment of Varicose Veins of the Lower Limbs, Hernias, Anal Fistulas and Pilonidal Sinuses apart from all conventional general surgeries.
He has won the precious annual award "The Best Doctor of the Region", from the M.O.H - Sultanate of Oman three times, an appreciation for his dedication to the work.
