Dr. Mohammed Imran completed his MBBS from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar, Karnataka in 2005 and went on to pursue a MS (ORTHO) from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, Karnathaka in 2008. Dr. Mohammed Imran finished his Mch(ortho) in 2018 from Texila American university. He received his Fellowship in shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty from Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital, Pune, India and Knee arthroscopic training from World laparoscopic centre, Delhi, India. Knee and hip arthroplasty training from All India Institute of science, Delhi, India. He did training in Foot and ankle Arthroscopy from Shanghai, China.

He has also worked as Assistant professor in Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College (deemed university) Kolar, Karnataka and PES Medical College, Kuppam, Andharapardesh where he was actively involved in teaching undergraduate and post graduate medical students. He also worked in various hospitals as Orthopaedic Specialist in Republic of Maldives. He was also a visiting consultant to various hospitals in Kolar, Karnataka before moving to NMC Royal Family Medical Cen, MBZ, Abu Dhabi in 2012. He has 12 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedics. In his vast experience in the field of Orthopaedics, he has gained, expertise in Fracture management, Trauma and shock management, surgeries for polio, cerebral palsy, CTEV, Blouts disease, Rickets, Osteogenesis Imperfecta – Arthroscopy, ACL repair, various types of tendon transfer arthrodesis, Orthofix applications, Hip and Knee replacement surgeries as well as Arthroscopy and Hemi arthroplasty of hip, he is also highly trained in Skin grafting and various flaps related to Orthopaedics.

 

Dr. Mohammed has presented papers in orthopaedic conferences, and regularly keeps himself updated with latest orthopaedic techniques by attending workshops and conferences.
