
Dr. Mohammed Elmarghany is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with almost 16 years of experience in the Orthopaedic Surgery field. Mohammed pursued his higher education MSc followed by MD (Orthopaedic Surgery) from the prestigious Al Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt and he is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery in the same university.
He had special training in Pediatric Orthopaedics and Pelvic Surgery from Nationwide CTO Hospital, Torino, Italy in addition to San Joan De Deu hospital Barcelona , Spain. He has immense experience managing operative and non-operative orthopaedic cases and has performed more than 10,000 procedures (both adults and children over 16years), including primary and complicated surgeries while working in Egypt.
Dr. Mohammed Elmarghany expertise includes hip preservation technique in FAI, hip preservation technique in SCFE, LCPD, coxa vara, DDH surgeries, pelvic osteotomies including PAO of Ganz in adolescent and young adult hip dysplasia, total hip replacement, total knee replacement surgeries, hip problems in CP, dealing with diplegic CP, foot problems in pediatric and adults, regional traumatology with AO principles, pelvic trauma and acetabular reconstruction, tendons transfer, nerve entrapment surgeries, lumbar discectomy and fixation (posterolateral fusion), simple knee arthroscopy in meniscectomy and ACL reconstruction.
