Dr. Manohar Mamani is the Head of the Department of Urology and has been serving at NMC Hospital for the past 13 years. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, followed by M.Ch in Urology from KMC Manipal and Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Genitourinary Surgery from Delhi.
He secured first place in the prestigious "Uroquiz" and received the "Prof. H.S. Bhat Award" for Best Postgraduate in Urology at the VII Annual Conference of the Urology Association, Kerala. He was also honoured with the "Vijayshree Award" in New Delhi for his outstanding service and contributions to society. His numerous awards and leadership roles reflect not only his academic excellence but also the trust he has earned from patients and peers alike.
Dr. Manohar previously served as Professor and Head of the Department of Urology at JJM Medical College, Davangere, where he was also responsible for training postgraduate students in Urology. He has over 14 years of extensive private practice experience in India.
He specializes in the treatment of kidney stones, prostate disorders, urinary tract infections, sexual health issues, pediatric urology, and female urology, neurourology and genitourinary cancer, with a focus on minimally invasive procedures and long-term wellness.
