Dr Maha Alnemer has over 8 years’ experience in the field Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her Doctor in Medicine from Damascus University, Syria in 2009 and thereafter completed her master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the same university in 2015. Dr Maha is also a member of MRCOG, Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Dr Maha is also a BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified.
Dr Maha started her medical practice in her home country as resident doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Maternity University Hospital for 6 years. In 2014, she started working as a specialist in 3 private clinics from her home country for 4 years. Before moving to UAE, Dr Maha has worked as obstetrics and gynaecology specialist at Azhar private hospital in Muscat, Oman for 4 years. In 2022, she continued her medical practice in UAE as obstetrics and gynaecology specialist at one private facility in Al Ain before joining NMC.
Dr Maha’s areas of expertise include Antenatal care and management of high risk pregnancy, recurrent miscarriage and Ectopic pregnancy, Normal delivery & Caesarean section, Obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound, Management of reproductive problems, hormonal disturbance and PCOS, family planning and early gynaecological cancer screening program.
Dr Maha is well versed in English and Arabic.
