Dr. Kakani has previously worked with senior and well known cardiac surgeons in India. He gained valuable experience at AIIMS where they do more than 3500 cardiac cases per year. Later he joined Wockhardt which is famous for OPCAB. He was in charge of Cardiac Anaesthesia department at Seven Hills Hospital, Visakhapatnam and Apollo Hospital, Visakhapatnam for over 4 years.
Dr. Madhava Kakani completed his MBBS in 1999 from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore University (Bangalore), MD Anaesthesiology from JSS Medical College (Mysore), Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (Bangalore) in 2003. He completed his superspecialisation, DM in Cardiac Anaesthesiology in 2008 from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India.
He specialises in both adult and paediatric cardiac anaesthesia with overall clinical experience of more than 10 years. He is very well versed with management of anesthesia for off pump CABG.
He holds the professional membership of Indian Society of Anesthesiologists and Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologists.
He has keen interest in research, academic services and has published papers in renowned journals. He has participated and presented papers at various national and international medical conferences and seminars.
