She graduated as a university rank holder and Colgate Palmolive award winner from Calicut Dental College, India, in 1999. After moving to the UK in 2000, she worked at various NHS hospitals in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the King's College Dental Institute Paediatric Dentistry department. She underwent her postgraduate education and training in Prosthodontics at the University of Manchester. She practiced as a General Dentist and Prosthodontist in a Bank Practice in Prestwich, Manchester, before moving to Dubai.
While in Dubai, she worked for DHA, Mediclinic Arabian Ranches, and Symbiosis Medical Centre before joining the NMC group.
