Dr. Lachman Das has over 15 years of medical experience working at various tertiary care hospital and exclusive eye care hospitals in Pakistan, Africa & Saudi Arabia before moving to UAE. Prior to joining NMC Al Ain, he has worked for four years in Pvt. medical hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Dr. Lachman Das, Specialist Ophthalmologist, completed his M.B.B.S from University of Sindh Pakistan in 2000. He later completed his F.C.P.S Ophthalmology training from Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi. He obtained his Fellowship (FCPS) in Ophthalmology from college of Physician & Surgeon of Pakistan in 2009.
Dr. Lachman Das has a wide experience in various eye disorders, his prime area of interest anterior segment such as Cataract, Glaucoma, Pterygium, etc. as well as in Medical retina. He is experience in cataract surgery (Phaco-emulsification IOL), SICS, ECCE IOL. for glaucoma trabeculectomies and Pterygium excision with Conjunctiva graft.
He is doing various type of lasers procedures for treating Diabetic retinopathy, Glaucoma and other eye diseases.
