Dr Kalpana Sengupta has over 30 years of rich experience in the field of Paediatrics with special interest in Paediatric nephrology. She completed her MD Paediatrics from Bombay University, DNB from National Board, DCH from CPS Mumbai and MRCPCH from RCPCH, UK. Post MD, she completed a one-year Research fellowship in Paediatric haematology oncology at BJWHC. She was also awarded a travelling fellowship in Advanced Paediatric Nephrology at Sydney Children's Hospital.
She joined NMC healthcare in the year of 2003. Prior to this, she was an Associate Professor at the prestigious B J Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai. She was a PG teacher and was also heading a unit responsible for Paediatric nephrology and Paediatric Intensive care at BJWHC. She also worked as a Lecturer at Seth G S Medical College and Lokmanya Tilak Medical College.
Dr Kalpana is currently the Head of Department of Paediatrics at NMC SH, Al Nahda. She also holds the position of Secretary of Dubai Paediatric club and is a sought-after speaker at various scientific events.
Dr Kalpana is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Marathi.
