Dr. Iajaz Ahmed completed his MBBS in 1991 from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore University and MD from Bangalore Medical College in 1995.
He specializes in General Medicine with overall clinical experience of more than 19 years as a Specialist Physician. Prior to joining NMC Healthcare, Dr. Iajaz worked in reputed hospitals in Bangalore, India. Dr. Iajaz joined NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi in 1998 as a Specialist in Internal Medicine. He then became the Medical Director and Specialist in Internal Medicine at the NMC Hospital, Al Ain. He has experience in treating patients of various subspecialties in medicine.
Dr. Iajaz has attended many seminars and trainings. He is regularly involved in online CME programs, monthly HAAD accredited CME programs conducts by NMC Hospitals etc. Dr. Iajaz also has experience teaching undergraduates during the course of his MD for 3 years. He has also taught pharmacy students of Ajman University in NMC Hospital, Abu Dhabi during their training for 2 years.
