Dr. Gopalakrishna Mettinadka Devanna completed his MBBS in 2001 from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and MD (Anaesthesiology) in 2005 from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. He was the best outgoing student and got a Gold Medal in MD (Anaesthesia) in 2005 from Manipal University. He completed his DNB in Anaesthesia in 2007.
He has vast experience in Anaesthesia for more than 9 years, with his anaesthetic skills ranging across various surgical specialties like Paediatric Aaesthesia, Obstetric Anaesthesia, Neuro-anaesthesia, Labour Analgesia, Trauma-orthopaedics, Urology and Surgical Oncology to name a few. He also has experience in Intensive Care Management.
Dr. Gopalakrishna has completed training in Ultrasound guided Regional Anaesthetic procedures by NYSORA and has periodically upgraded his knowledge and skills by regular participation in CME and conferences. He holds professional membership of Indian Society of Anaesthesia
He takes keen interest in academic training and research activities. He has conducted workshops in various conferences and CME programs across India. He has conducted regular clinical research activities and published his work in various national and international journals.
He can speak English, Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Tulu and Konkani.
