Dr Dhanaraju Muniswamy is a Medical Oncologist with over 10 years of experience. While he specializes in oncology, he works alongside various specialists, including oral and maxillofacial surgeon, dental implant surgeon, and experts in impacted wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting and jaw surgery specialist, and cyst removal oral surgeon Dubai to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care. He completed his MBBS from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar, Karnataka, India, followed by his MD (Internal Medicine) from MR Medical College, Gulbarga, Karnataka, India. He then completed his DM (Medical Oncology) from the prestigious JIPMER (Institute of National Importance), Puducherry, India, in 2015 and was awarded the Gold Medal and best outgoing Resident.

He was the first oncologist in the Maldives and was instrumental in starting oncological services and creating awareness among the public by conducting various cancer screening camps across the country. He was also a governing member in starting the Cancer registry in the country.
Subsequently, Dr Dhanraju worked as a consultant Medical Oncologist at the premier American Oncology Institute, Andhra Pradesh, India, for 4 years before joining NMC.
