
Dr Deepika Gandhi is a Senior Paediatric Intensivist with more than 20 years of experience. After finishing her MBBS and Post-graduation in Paediatrics, she specialised in Paediatric Intensive Care. She has the distinction of being a graduate of the First batch of Paediatric Critical Care Fellowship Program in India in the year 2003. Subsequently, she has done a Clinical Fellowship in Paediatric Critical Care at British Columbia Children's Hospital in Vancouver, Canada.
She is an experienced teacher and examiner, and has many publications in reputed journals in the field of Paediatric Intensive Care, the most recent being Recent advances in Septic shock, published in The Indian Journal of Practical Paediatrics, 2019. She has been an Invited Faculty for a number of Conferences in Paediatric Critical Care. She is the author of the book Paediatric Critical Care Manual, published by Wolters Kluwer India Pvt Ltd., which is a comprehensive resource for Paediatricians involved in taking care of critically ill children and an academic resource for trainees specialising in paediatric critical care.
Prior to coming to UAE, she has worked as a Senior Consultant and Chief of Paediatric Critical Care Department in many well known tertiary level hospitals in Chennai, India like SIMS Hospital, Apollo Children's Hospital and Mehta Children's Hospital.
