Dr. Carl B. Kapadia is a distinguished General, Interventional, and Structural Consultant Cardiologist based in Abu Dhabi. He is recognized for his world-class training, clinical excellence, and compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Dr. Kapadia is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
After growing up in Dubai, Dr. Kapadia pursued his post-secondary education at the University of Toronto, Canada. He earned his medical degree (MD) from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, where he graduated top in his class with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He pursued an advanced Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota - the #1 ranked hospital in the United States. While at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Kapadia was part of a high-volume, internationally referred practice, where he treated some of the most complex cardiac cases globally, including dignitaries and VIP patients from around the world.
Prior to returning to the UAE, Dr. Kapadia served as a Consultant Interventional and Structural Cardiologist in Boise, Idaho, USA. He was the Medical Director of the Structural Interventional Program as well as the Heart & Valve Clinic, offering advanced procedures such as complex Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (coronary angioplasty), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), Transcatheter Mitral Valve repair and replacement, further refining his expertise in minimally invasive heart treatments.
