Dr. Avinash Rai is a Specialist Urologist with almost eight years of experience in Urology.
He completed his MBBS from K S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore, India and MS (General Surgery), followed by MCh (Urology) from Yenepoya Medical College, India.
After completing his super specialty training in Urology, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology, Renal Sciences and Robotic Surgery at Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore- India, where he actively assisted in robotic surgeries. He also has worked as a Junior Consultant in Yenepoya Specialty Hospital India for three years.
Dr. Avinash has two publications and has presented scientific papers and posters in various state and national conferences. He is a member of the Urological Society of India (USI), Association of Southern Urologists (ASU) and Karnataka Urology Association (KUA).
His special interests are in Endo Urology, Andrology, Uro Oncology and Laparoscopic Urology.
Dr. Avinash speaks English, Tulu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
