
Dr. Antony Thankachan Kattakayam is a highly experienced Specialist Radiologist in the field of Diagnostic & Non-Vascular Interventional Radiology. With a decade of expertise, he has made significant contributions to the medical community.In 2009, Dr. Antony completed his MBBS from Devaraj URS Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He further pursued MD Radiodiagnosis from Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, India, graduating in 2014.From 2014 to 2019, he served as a Consultant Radiologist at VPS Lakeshore Hospital and Research Centre, Kochi, Kerala, India. During this time, Dr. Antony gained extensive knowledge and expertise in various radiology imaging techniques, non-vascular interventional procedures, and actively participated in the postgraduate DNB training conducted at the hospital.To enhance his skills, Dr. Antony completed an advanced sonographic training course at Sono Scan, Coimbatore, India. This program focused on fetal anomaly, echo cardiology, and 3D/4D imaging. Such specialized training has enhanced his ability to provide accurate and precise diagnoses.In 2019, Dr. Antony joined NMC Royal Medical Center Ras al Khaimah as a Specialist Radiologist. He played a crucial role in establishing the MRI (1.5 Tesla Phillips Ingenia) unit. The medical center offers a comprehensive range of imaging services, including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and non-vascular interventional procedures.
