Dr. Vadivel underwent clinical training in Aryavart Hospital, Meerut, for advanced ERCP/EUS under the mentorship of the legendary Dr. Malay Sharma. Additionally, he has earned the degree of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in Gastroenterology (ESEGH) and completed a Postgraduate Course at the American College of Gastroenterology.

Before moving to the UAE, he worked in many prestigious institutes such as The Manipal Hospital, Salem, India, for three years as a gastroenterology consultant Abu Dhabi, and Liver Transplant Hepatologist. Before joining NMC Specialty Hospital in Dubai, he worked at International Modern Hospital for one year and then moved to NMC Royal Hospital, Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi.

Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Anand Vadivel has performed over 8,000 upper and lower GI endoscopies (both diagnostic and therapeutic) and 600 ERCP procedures. As a colonoscopy and endoscopy specialist Abu Dhabi, he excels in Esophageal and Colonic Stenting, Variceal Band Ligation, Ulcer Bleed Management, Glue Injection, PEG Tube Placement, Polypectomy, Achalasia Balloon Dilatation, Capsule Endoscopy, 24-hour pH monitoring, Manometry, and Endoscopic Ultrasound.
