Dr. Ajay Sukhdeo Chaudhary is a Consultant Dermatologist with almost 26 years of experience in the field of Dermatology.
Dr. Ajay completed his MD Dermatology from Bombay University, India in the year 1995 followed by DNB in the year 1996. Later he completed the Diploma in Dermatology, from the Royal College of Physicians, Glasgow, UK in the year 2008. He was heading the Department of Dermatology in NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Nahda during the period Nov 2006 to Jan 2021. Before joining our unit, he was associated with Emirates Specialty Hospital, DHCC.
He is professionally associated with Fellowship in Dermatology & Laser Surgery from National Skin Center, Singapore and is a Life Member of IADVL (Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists). He has published multiple scientific papers in various index journals and also authored a text book of Dermatology, published in Mumbai, India in the year 2000.
Dr. Ajay is proficient in dealing with
- Various procedures like cryotherapy, cauterization for treatment of warts, skin tags, corns, ingrown toe nails, Skin biopsy, etc.
- Other procedures like LASERS, Botox, PRP, Mesotherapy, chemical peeling, etc.
- Uses narrow band ultraviolet therapy for the past 8 years for treatment of Psoriasis, Vitiligo, etc.
- Treatment for hair loss, acne, etc.
His special interest includes Vitiligo, Paediatric Dermatology and Atopic eczema.
Dr. Ajay is fluent in English and Hindi and also has working knowledge of Arabic.
