Dr. Ahmed Kamal is a Senior Emergency Medicine Consultant with more than 20 years of clinical and leadership experience across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. He is triple board-certified in Emergency Medicine through the Arab Board, European Board, and Egyptian Board, and holds Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM).
His clinical expertise includes the management of critically ill and high-acuity emergency patients, trauma and resuscitation, Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), and ultrasound-guided procedures. He also holds a Fellowship in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), complementing his extensive experience in bedside ultrasound applications in emergency and critical care.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Ahmed has a strong focus on healthcare quality, patient safety, emergency department operations, and process improvement. He holds AUC diplomas in Hospital Management & Operational Excellence and Healthcare Quality, providing formal training in healthcare leadership, quality improvement, operational efficiency, and patient-centered care.
Dr. Ahmed is actively involved in medical education, teaching and mentoring junior physicians and medical interns. He contributes to clinical education as well as quality and patient-safety initiatives aimed at improving emergency care pathways, patient flow, and clinical outcomes.
