Dr. Ashraf Salem is a Consultant Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon with over 30 years of experience in treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions. He completed his higher surgical training in the United Kingdom and has worked as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon for nearly 20 years.
Dr. Salem specializes in Foot and Ankle Surgery and Sports Injuries, with expertise in both routine and complex procedures. His experience includes everything from bunion correction and ligament reconstruction to advanced total ankle replacement surgery. He is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care to help patients relieve pain, restore mobility, and return to their daily activities as quickly and safely as possible.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of London (FRCS) as well as the Intercollegiate Fellow in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery (FRCS Tr & Orth). He also holds Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Orthopedic Surgery from Ain Shams Uiversity in Egypt.
Dr. Salem is a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (BOFAS) and the European Foot and Ankle Society (EFAS). He has also contributed to orthopedic research through publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
