Dr. Shahyan Mohsin Siddiqui

Consultant Interventional Radiology

Speciality: Radiology

Nationality: Indian

Experience: 9 Years

Languages: English, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu

NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Nahda, Dubai

Dr. Shahyan Siddiqui is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist with distinctive dual training in neurointerventional and vascular/body interventional radiology. This combination brings subspecialty depth in neurointervention together with expertise in arterial and venous, body and oncological interventions.

A particular focus of his practice is image-guided, minimally invasive “no-scalpel” or “pinhole” treatment—using tiny needle or catheter access rather than conventional surgical incisions to treat complex conditions with precision, minimise tissue disruption and, where appropriate, avoid open surgery.

He has dedicated training in advanced neurointerventional and interventional radiology at tertiary and quaternary-care centres in India and holds the FRCR qualification from the Royal College of Radiologists, UK. His clinical practice includes endovascular treatment of acute stroke, brain aneurysms and vascular malformations, arterial and venous interventions, embolisation procedures, interventional oncology, thyroid interventions, hepatobiliary procedures, and image-guided spine and pain interventions.

Dr. Siddiqui has a particular interest in translating emerging technologies, AI-assisted systems and advanced navigation into clinical practice. He performed the first EMEA  region use of the Flash 3 AI-enabled, computer-assisted vacuum thrombectomy system for pulmonary embolism.

His work has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, with contributions to radiology education and presentations at national and international scientific meetings. His approach combines consultant-level expertise, technical precision and a minimally invasive, image-guided philosophy—seeking a safe and effective alternative to conventional surgery whenever appropriate."
