Dr. Claudia Gianella is a German board-certified Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology with over 20 years of experience in leading hospitals across Spain and Germany. She completed her Medical Degree and Doctorate in Medicine (Cum Laude) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, before undertaking specialist training at Hospital del Mar and Clínica Corachan in Barcelona, and later at St. Martinus Hospital – GFO Klinikum Südwestfalen in Germany, where she progressed from Specialist to Consultant and Senior Consultant. With MIC II certification in advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, she combines strong surgical expertise with a calm, reassuring presence in both clinic and operating theatre.

 Dr. Gianella’s practice covers the full spectrum of women’s health, with particular focus on high-risk obstetrics, advanced laparoscopic hysterectomy and myomectomy, abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, pelvic floor and prolapse surgery, and the management of fibroids, endometriosis and ovarian cysts. She also has extensive experience in hysteroscopic procedures, NovaSure® endometrial ablation, LEEP for cervical intraepithelial lesions, and selected cosmetic gynecologic procedures, offering comprehensive and individualized care to women at every stage of life.

High-risk pregnancy care, labour ward management and obstetric emergencies. More than 16,000 gynecologic and obstetric surgeries performed on the last 5 years and over 2,500 deliveries in the last 3 years. Advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIC II certified).

Laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH).
