I am a liver and pancreatic obesity surgeon, and a professor at the College of Medicine at Kuwait University. A Cleveland Clinic graduate with more than 20 years of experience in bariatric, liver and pancreatic surgery. I am an SRC-accredited Master Surgeon and Surgeon of Excellence in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Bariatric surgery & gastric balloon is my main interest. I practice at Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah Hospital in Kuwait and am an associate professor of Surgery at Kuwait University. I have authored and co-authored over 50 publications in the fields of bariatric, hepatobiliary surgery and surgical education. I am also a founding member of the Kuwait Surgical Association and of the American College of Surgeons Kuwait Chapter.
