Dr. Mohamed Nagib Hashem has over 35 years of clinical experience in his field.
Dr. Mohamed obtained his MBBCh from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 1976 and received his Master’s Degree in Internal Medicine from the same university in 1985.
He started his career as a Resident Doctor at Ismailia Hospital, Egypt then joined reputed hospitals in his home country: Salam Hospital and Heliopolis Hospital.
Dr. Mohamed was appointed as a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Salam Hospital, Egypt in 1985 and later continued his practice in government and private healthcare sectors.
In 1995, Dr. Mohamed moved to the UAE and joined several renowned government and large private hospitals in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Mohamed has an extensive medical experience in diagnosis, treatment, and management of hypertension, diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, acute conditions, medical emergencies, and Intensive Care Unit cases. He has intensive knowledge in using interventional procedures such as paracentesis, plurocentesis, ABG extraction, nasogastric tube and endotracheal tube insertion.
His areas of interest include respiratory conditions, heart diseases, diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders and gastrointestinal diseases.
Dr. Mohamed has an extensive experience in:
- Treatment of respiratory disorders like bronchial asthma, acute chest pain, asthma and bronchitis.
- Management of cases that are associated with fever.
- Management of hypertension, hyperlipidemic and related vascular conditions.
- Diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal issues, gastric problems, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
- Diagnosis and treatment of endocrinology issues such as diabetes and thyroid diseases.
- Management of rheumatic, gout-related conditions.
