With over 12 years of extensive experience in pulmonology and respiratory medicine, Dr Dave brings extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex pulmonary conditions and sleep disorders.
He has held various senior leadership roles, across UK hospitals, including medical directorship at UHB,
Birmingham. He is an active member of the British Thoracic Society, European Respiratory Society and Royal College of Physicians. He has published internationally in the field of respiratory medicine.
Dr Dave is actively involved in the facilitated outpatient care for respiratory addressing asthma, recurrent infections, cough, pleural disease, ILD and cancer, utilising a muti-disciplinary approach, with patient focussed care.He is also highly experienced in the management of sleep disorders, including
CPAP and BiPAP therapy, as well as more complex neurological sleep conditions.
Dr Dave has developed advanced expertise in interventional pulmonology, including bronchoscopy with bronchial and transbronchial biopsy. He is adept at pleural procedures such as thoracentesis and chest drain insertions, as well as comprehensive pulmonary function testing.
