Anthony Letayf
Group General Counsel
As Group General Counsel, Anthony leads all legal and contractual matters across NMC Healthcare, working closely with the in-house legal team and external advisors to ensure robust governance, compliance and strategic legal support for the organisation.
Before joining NMC, Anthony served as Head of Legal for the Middle East, Turkey and Levant at Viatris. His extensive experience spans strategic transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), regulatory frameworks, compliance investigations and cross-border operations. He has previously held senior leadership roles at Acino Pharma, Novartis, and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson).
Anthony is a Solicitor of England and Wales, registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). He also holds professional certifications including Certified In-House Counsel (Association of Corporate Counsel), Leading People and Teams (University of Michigan), and FinTech Law & Policy (Duke University).
He earned his LLB from the College of Law of England and Wales, London, and a BA in Political Studies from the American University of Beirut. Anthony has been recognised through multiple professional awards and is actively involved in cross-functional leadership groups, industry committees and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
