- Administer treatments involving application of physical agents, using equipment, like hydrotherapy tanks and whirlpool baths, moist packs, ultraviolet infrared lamps, and ultrasound machines
- Administer massage, applying knowledge of massage techniques body physiology
- Administer traction to relieve pain, using traction equipment
- Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum benefit
