Dr. Fahad Afzal Malik has over 8 years of experience in Endocrinology, having worked in the UK as both a Specialist Registrar and subsequently as a Consultant Endocrinologist. Prior to joining NMC, he was serving in Emirates Health Services in Fujairah, where he had relocated from Scotland. He also has 2 years of Consultant-level experience at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, UK.
Dr. Fahad pursued his postgraduate training obtaining a CCT in Endocrinology and Diabetes and CCT in Internal Medicine through Health Education England (West Midlands Deanery). During his training and Consultant years, he actively participated in various Multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) in the UK, including Metabolic Bone/Osteoporosis, Obesity, General Endocrinology, Complex Diabetes, Diabetic Foot and Cardio-renal Diabetes.
