Dr Nirosha Ponnuraj completed her MBBS from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, India, in 2013 and her MD in Paediatrics from Government Theni Medical College, affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, in 2017. She was the university topper and a gold medalist of the year. Additionally, Dr Nirosha completed her MRCPCH (UK) parts 1 & 2, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Nutrition in 2021.
Dr Nirosha brings over 7 years of medical expertise. She started working as a senior resident at Velammal Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. Subsequently, she joined JK Hospital, Madurai, as a junior consultant from 2018 till 2020. In 2020, she returned to Velammal Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Madurai, as an assistant professor and consultant before moving to the UAE.
