
Dr. Noor obtained his MBBS from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2004. After successfully completing his internship at the Royal Medical Services, Jordan, he continued to work there as a medical practitioner until 2006. Later, he joined King Hussein Medical Center of Amman, Jordan for his Neurosurgical residency in 2006 and served as a Specialist Neurosurgeon there from 2012 until 2016.
Dr. Noor has over 14 years of experience. Prior to joining NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Ain, Dr. Noor worked as a Neurosurgeon at Mafraq Hospital, Abu Dhabi, where, he performed multiple cranial and spine surgeries. He was also managing the Neurosurgery clinic, caring for patients admitted to the ward and to the critical care unit.
Dr. Noor holds a Jordanian Board in Neurosurgery. He had passed the European Board in Neurosurgery and Fellow of American College of Surgeons in 2016. He also holds an Arab Spine Diploma since 2016 and passed the Joint Surgical Colleges Fellowship Examination in February 2018 and was awarded FRCS SN of England and a fellowship of European Association of Neurological Surgery in May 2018.
Dr. Noor’s key areas of interest are skull base surgeries, brain tumours, spinal tumour, spine degenerative diseases and spine trauma. He performs minimally invasive spine surgeries including cervical discectomy, lumbar discectomy, cervical fixation, lumbar fusion procedures and minimally invasive procedures, spine fixation for degenerative spine diseases as well as for traumatic spine injury.
He underwent multiple training program including the Fellowships in Spine and Skull Base Surgeries in November 2008 at the Tubingen University, Germany, where he attended and assisted 119 cases of brain and spine surgeries.
