Chief Marketing and Communications Officer
Peter is an accomplished, result-oriented, executive leader with a proven track record in leading and motivating high-performance multicultural and cross-functional teams. Peter has gained extensive marketing experience in the South African and the UAE healthcare markets. His expertise includes strategic marketing, communications, brand management, event management and business development. He is an ardent proponent of the importance of the patient journey in determining the patient’s perception of a healthcare provider.
Prior to joining NMC, Peter was with Mediclinic for over 28 years of which 15 years were in South Africa and the past 13 years in the UAE. In his role as the CMCO at NMC, Peter leads the marketing, corporate communications, branding, digital advertising, and business development verticals.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Diploma of Higher Education from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa as well as a Strategic Marketing Diploma from Damelin College, South Africa.
