Senior Vice President Operations - Sharjah and Northern Emirates Region

Dr Ashishkumar Jaiswal is a senior healthcare professional with a total experience of 20 years in the industry, including 10 years in the P&L role in the UAE market. His expertise lies in strategy, turnkey projects, turnaround management, P&L management, performance improvement, and operations management.

Dr Ashishkumar joined NMC in August 2013; alongside being the Senior VP of Operations for the Sharjah and the NE regions, he is also responsible for the Dubai region and serves as a General Manager for NMC Royal Hospital DIP and NMC Specialty Hospital DIP.

In his current role, he is responsible for P&L oversight for the Sharjah and Northern Emirates Region. He collaborates and works closely with the Hospital General Managers, Medical Directors, Clinical HODs, Consultants, Administrators, Unit Heads, Functional Heads, and other senior members to drive the company’s agenda of serving communities, working closely with the regulators, and bringing overall efficiencies into the operations.

Dr Ashishkumar is a medical graduate with Master’s in Healthcare & Hospital Management.

He has also received Finance certification from the London Business School and Strategy for Healthcare Delivery from Harvard Business School.

He is a Fellow of the Australian College of Health Science Management & Royal School of Public Health from London.
