Ashish Sharma

Ashish Sharma is a Senior Banker with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and was most recently the Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking for Dubai and Northern Emirates.

Many of his prior roles at ADCB included coverage responsibilities in the UAE focused on Government Related Enterprises and Large Corporates. From 2015-2020, Mr. Sharma was ADCB’s representative on the Creditor’s Committee of Dubai World, which was successfully restructured, and debt repaid in 2020.

Mr. Sharma has over 33 years of experience in banking. Prior to his roles at ADCB, he held investment banking roles at ABN AMRO and ANZ Bank, as well as corporate and financial institution relationship management roles in Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Mr. Sharma holds two Engineering degrees and has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management at University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia.

As part of his NMC Board responsibilities, Mr. Sharma is the Co-Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Operations & Quality Committee.
