Speak Up

Reporting concerns is a crucial step in ensuring a safe and ethical environment. At NMC, we believe that we all play a vital role in this. We encourage all stakeholders, including employees, patients, business partners, and the public, to Speak Up.

Reporting Process

We have established multiple reporting channels to make the process easier. Reports can be made anonymously, and all allegations will be treated confidentially. Our Ethics and Compliance Office will thoroughly investigate every report. You can confidentially report concerns by:

Using the NMC Integrity Line, our secure, multi-channel reporting system that is operated independently by ethix360.

Contacting NMC’s Ethics and Compliance Office directly at [email protected].

Employees may also speak to their local Ethics and Compliance Champion.

Investigation Process

On receiving a report, the Ethics and Compliance Office will review and, if necessary, initiate a thorough investigation. This process involves gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and assessing the situation. Based on the findings, appropriate actions will be taken to address the issue and prevent its reoccurrence.

Confidentiality and Non-Retaliation

NMC is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of those who report concerns. We want reporters to feel comfortable raising concerns openly, knowing that we will do our best to protect their confidentiality. However, if reporters prefer not to disclose their identity, they can report anonymously through the Integrity Line. Additionally, our strict non-retaliation policy ensures that individuals who report concerns in good faith, as well as any witnesses, are protected from retaliation. We have established mechanisms to promptly address and investigate any reported retaliatory conduct.

Your voice matters. By speaking up, you help us maintain the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and patient care. Please see our FAQ for common questions about the reporting and investigation process, and if you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Ethics and Compliance Office.
