Dr Yasir Ahmad Lone Consultant Paediatric Surgeon holds an MBBS from Government Medical College in Srinagar, an MS in General Surgery from Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, and an MCh in Paediatric Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Additionally, he is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS Ed). He has over 11 years of experience in paediatric surgery.
Dr Yasir has worked at several prestigious institutions. He started at the Advanced Paediatric Center (APC) in PGIMER, Chandigarh, as a Clinical Fellow and Senior Resident. He then served as a Consultant and Assistant Professor at Aligarh Muslim University. In the UK, he specialized further before returning to India to join the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences as a Consultant and Associate Professor.
