Dr. Salma Khanam Patan is an accomplished Internal Medicine Specialist with over 15 years of medical practice. She earned her MBBS from Kurnool Medical College, NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, India, in 2009. During her MBBS, she received numerous awards and recognitions, including: Dr. E. Sreenivasulu Reddy Memorial Gold Medal in ENT, Dr. B. Venugopal Rao Memorial Gold Medal in ENT, and Dr. R. Sreenivasulu Chetty Memorial Gold Medal in SPM in 2008. Dr. Salma began her career as a medical professional after completing her MBBS. During her postgraduate studies, she served as a Junior Resident Doctor at SV Medical College, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, from 2012 to 2015.
She then worked as a Senior Resident Doctor in the CCU at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, Punjab, from 2015. In 2016, she joined G.C.R.G Medical College, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, as a Consultant and Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine. Later, she served as a Consultant in Internal Medicine at Integral University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in 2017, and as a Senior Consultant at Charak Hospital & Research Centre, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, until 2022.
In 2022, Dr. Salma moved to the UAE and began her practice with a leading healthcare group before joining NMC Healthcare in 2025.
