He completed his MBChB in 2004 from Baghdad University Hospital in Iraq. Thereafter, he completed his Fellowship in Internal Medicine and Pulmonology from the prestigious Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden
Consultant Pulmonologist and Internist with over 17 years of clinical experience in managing a wide range of respiratory and internal medical conditions. Formerly held leadership roles at Karolinska University Hospital, including Director of the Respiratory Educational Program, Chief Medical Officer for Inpatient Care, and Head of the Respiratory Interventional Unit.
He is a highly skilled respiratory interventionist with a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. Recognized for his excellence in clinical leadership, medical education, and advanced interventional procedures, he strives to enhance the quality of respiratory and internal medicine services.
He is a member of the Swedish Pulmonary association (SLMF), European Respiratory association (ERS), Member of the European Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (EABIP) and Member of the World Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (WABIP).
