Dr Sonalica Suresh -MRCOG, EFOG-EBCOG, FACOG , is an obstetrician and gynaecologist with 10 + years of rich experience in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology including laparoscopy and reproductive medicine.She pursued her MBBS from Government Medical College , Kannur,kerala. She then did her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Government Medical College Calicut-Kerala and pursued DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from PVS Hospital Calicut.She completed MRCOG from the prestigious Royal College of Obstetritians and Gynaecologists, London in 2023 .She became the EBCOG-European Fellow of Obstetrics and Gynaecology ( EFOG-EBCOG) in Nov 2023 and was admitted as the Fellow of the American College Of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists ( FACOG) in May 2024.She have also done the Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound from India.
She is trained in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy from India and the Master in Laparoscopy training from MIS Academy , Dubai.She has undergone advanced training in reproductive medicine from CIMAR Fertility Centre, Kerala.She is experienced in handling normal vaginal deliveries , caesarean sections , instrumental deliveries , high risk obstetric cases , and laparoscopy for gynaecological issues like ectopic pregnancy , ovarian cyst , fibroid uterus , abnormal uterine bleeding and endometriosis .She is experienced in performig Colposcopy and managing PCOS , fertility issues , menopausal issues ,adolescent gynaecological issues ,and cancer screening .
Dr Sonalica has various publications in national journals and have contributed chapters in various textbooks related to gynaecology and delivered presentations in national forums.She also guides aspirants of prestigious qualifications from the Royal College of the UK, Ireland and Europe for MRCOG , MRCPI and EBCOG examinations.She is a life member of Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies of India ( FOGSI) , Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopist ( IAGE) , Indian Menopause Society ( IMS) and Indian Medical Association ( IMA).
