
Dr. Sawsan Humaida has over 25 years of professional experience in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Neurology. She finished her MBBS at the Faculty of Medicine, Khartoum University, Sudan in 1985. She qualified for Internal Medicine Board - Clinical MD/PHD, from the same university in 1994. She completed her Fellowship in Neurology in 1997 and her Fellowship in Cardiology in 2002 at Khartoum Shaab Teaching Hospital, Sudan. In 2008, She became a member of the Royal College of Physicians – UK. She passed the certification exam of the European Association of Echocardiography in 2012 and attended Level 2 course in Cardiac CT conducted by the American Society of Cardiovascular CT in Chicago. A year later, she attended Level 3 course in Cardiac CT conducted by the Cardiovascular Medical Group. Dr. Sawsan is certified by the American College of Cardiology as Level 3 verified experience in Cardiovascular CT. In 2016, she qualified for Arab Board - Cardiovascular Diseases and the year after, she received her CBCCT, American Board in Cardiovascular CT.
Dr. Sawsan started her medical practice as a General Practitioner in Royal Free Hospital, UK in 1989. She became a Specialist – Internal Medicine in 1991, then a Medical Officer in 1994, then a Consultant - Internal Medicine in 2000 at Sudan Federal Ministry of Health. 2 years later, she moved to the UAE and joined several renowned government and large private hospitals in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, where she worked as a Specialist in Internal Medicine.
