Dr. Saima Ahmad has more than 20 years of experience in women’s health as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. She is dedicated to caring for the health and well-being of women at any age and manages all aspects of general Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr. Saima graduated with a first class in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Nishtar Medical College Pakistan in 1996. She has been working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 1997 and was granted Membership to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (MRCOG) London UK, in 2008.

She is a Registered Medical Practitioner with the General Medical Council UK and a UK Board Certified Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. She has also completed various specialized clinical training and attachment programs in assessment and management of early pregnancy problems, fetal medicine and Infertility at the Royal Infirmary Hospital Leicester, University Hospital Bristol and the Homerton University Hospital London. As an experienced Specialist, she has a demonstrated history of 15 years of clinical practice in UAE's Government and private health care facilities; including the prestigious Al Qassmia Hospital Sharjah. Her special interests in aspects of Women’s Health include routine & high risk antenatal care, management of pre-menstrual, menstrual and post-menopausal problems, ovarian cysts, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), contraceptive counseling, infertility assessment and cosmetic Gynaecology.

Dr. Saima takes a keen interest in the well being of UAE women and is actively involved in various clinical studies and audits pertaining to their well being. Her International presentations in UK, Australia and Malaysia include prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in women with PCO, awareness & knowledge of HPV & cervical cancer screening and endometriosis and infertility.
