Dr Nilkamal completed his MBBS, MS (General Surgery), M.Ch (Urology) from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India. He was awarded the gold medal from Gujarat University for Urology and was also awarded a prize for the Best paper (video) at USICON 2001, India. He was the chief of the core team for Urology, under ORET Project, Government of Gujarat (1999-2001), India. He was invited to AZM University Hospital, Masstricht in 1999 for an exchange program to guide them on PCNL surgery in exchange for training in Neuro urology. He has also done extensive work in renal transplants in India.
He specializes in urinary stones, urinary infection, prostate disease, urogynecology, sexual dysfunction in men and neurourology. Dr Nilkamal has conducted more than 250 each of PCNL and RIRS surgeries in the last 4 years. He takes special interest in urinary endoscopy surgeries and urinary reconstructive surgeries. He also performs high-end urological laparoscopic surgeries including laparascopic pyeloplasty, laparascopic ureteroureterostomy and laparascopic nephrectomy to name a few. He has many publications to his credit and has presented many papers in Urology Conferences across the globe.
