He has completed the Arab Spine Diploma from Dubai, UAE, and the Lateral Skull Base Diploma Fellowship Program from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, India.

Dr. Masuood has worked as a Senior Specialist Neurosurgeon at King Fahad Hospital, Madina Al Munawwarah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a teaching hospital for Taiba University, Madina, and the Saudi Board Neurosurgery Residency training program, where he was involved in academic activities, teaching MBBS students from Taiba University and Saudi Board Neurosurgery Residents. He was an examiner for the MBBS final-year surgical students as well. King Fahad Hospital received several pilgrim patients as well as patients from all over the Madina Province.
