Dr. Mohammed started his career in his home country at Mansoura International Teaching Hospital. He then moved to Kuwait University Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital in 2009 as a Cardiology Senior Registrar. This high-volume, 1,200-bed tertiary hospital is fully equipped to handle critical cardiac cases in the Coronary Care Unit using all diagnostic and treatment modalities. His work involved providing cardiac specialist services to thousands of patients, including transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, stress ECG and echo, nuclear imaging of the heart, pacemaker insertion, pericardiocentesis, and cardiac rehabilitation for post-angioplasty, post-cardiac surgery, heart failure patients, and sports cardiology. He was also actively involved in training Kuwaiti board doctors and contributed to four mega registries and numerous research projects.
After serving for 10 years, Dr. Mohammed moved to Abu Dhabi in 2019 to join NMC-ADNOC Hospital as a Cardiology Consultant in Abu Dhabi, where he initiated a full cardiac service and published two additional international research papers. His expertise as an Interventional Cardiologist in Abu Dhabi has contributed significantly to improving cardiac care in the region.
