Dr. Mohamed has completed MSc in Internal Medicine as well as Doctorate (MD) in Medical Gastroenterology and Hepatology from Mansoura University, Egypt. He had his extensive training in upper and lower Gastrointestinal endoscopy, both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
He has immense experience in managing patients with inflammatory bowel diseases and is keen on treating these patients. He is also experienced in dealing with Gastrointestinal bleeding of patients with variceal and non-variceal. He has a special interest in cases with acute and chronic liver diseases, liver malignancy and liver diseases during pregnancy.
He has experience in different endoscopic manoeuvres like endoscopic intra gastric balloon insertion for management of obesity.
He has publications on liver diseases and pregnancy and management of viral hepatitis.
