
Dr. Mah Sheena completed her Bachelors in Medicine & Surgery from Kannur University, India, followed by DNB in Pathology and Masters in Pathology from Kerala University of Health & Sciences (KUHAS), India. She has also attained Fellowship of Royal College of Pathology (FRCPATH), UK.
Dr. Mah Sheena has over 8 years of experience in the field of Histopathology & Cytology in the UAE and India. She has experience as a Specialist Pathologist and as an Assistant Professor in several prominent hospitals.
Areas of Expertise
- Reporting histopathology including complex oncology cases following RCPath guidelines
- Reporting cytopathology including FNAC following RCPath guidelines, fluid cytology and LBC samples of PAP smears
- Frozen section reporting
- Grossing of specimens following RCPath datasets
Dr. Mah Sheena has completed several advanced courses in Histopathology & Cytopathology from the United Kingdom. She has several publications to her name, the latest being: “Benign Mimickers of Prostatic Carcinoma: Incidence, Correlation with PSA Levels and the Diagnostic Dilemmas” in the European Journal of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
She has been invited to several national and international conferences as a speaker, the latest being an oral presentation on “Updates on Molecular Alterations and Targeted Therapy in Lung Cancer” at the 14th International Conference on Cancer and Cancer Therapy, in Dubai.
