Dr. Hananh Yahi is a French Board-Certified Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with over 13 years of experience. She has always strived to promote Women’s Health Care by providing her patients with the most advanced Gynaecologic and Surgical procedures with a commitment to enhance their lives and wellbeing.
Dr. Hananh received her undergraduate and graduate training in France. She was a medical student in Faculty of Medicine of Besancon, then did her post-graduate residency medical training at Chu De Lille - one of the largest Northern Health campuses in Europe. Due to her commitment to provide the best in women’s health for her patients, Dr. Hananh completed her Doctorate of Medicine and DESC of Obstetrics & Gynaecology from University Lille, France.
In France, Dr. Hananh worked as an Assistant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital of DOUAI and later as a consultant for 5 years. She moved to the UAE in 2014, when she joined one of the large multi-specialty hospitals in Dubai Healthcare City. She moved to Abu Dhabi in 2015 and joined Abu Dhabi’s first private women’s hospital, Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital and then moved to NMC Royal Hospital – Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi.
Within the field of Obstetrics, her special interest lies in high-risk obstetrics, maternal medicine (managing comorbidities in pregnancy - including preconception counseling) and labour ward management. Her aim is to support women to achieve the best possible outcomes for themselves and their baby, as close as safely possible to natural birth with the least complications.
Within Gynaecology, Dr. Hananh’s special interest lies in reproductive endocrinology and management of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She is also a competent gynaecological surgeon and is currently operating open, laparscopic and hysteroscopic gynaecological surgeries. This includes surgery for the management of endometrial hyperplasia, menorrhagia (heavy periods), uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and fallopian tube pathology, endometriosis and adenomyosis as well as uterovaginal prolapse Dr. Hananh take pride on being a doctor that practices evidence-based medicine and works to international standards and guidelines. She keeps herself abreast with advances in medicine by reading medical journals and attending international conferences.
