Dr Bipasha has over 2 decades of experience in Ophthalmology specializing in Orbit & Oculoplasty. She joins us from the Medical Research Foundation at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, India where she was the Director of the Department of Orbit, Oculoplasty, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Services. She was earlier Deputy Medical Superintendent and Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist at M.P. Birla Eye Clinic, Kolkata.
Dr Bipasha completed Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) from University of Calcutta. She then completed M.S. (Ophthalmology) from J.N. Medical College, U.P., India and Diplomate of National Board (Ophthalmology). She holds multiple fellowships in General Ophthalmology, Orbit & Oculoplasty and Cataract Microsurgery. She has completed observerships in various Specialized facilities in UK, US, Canada & India including Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA to name a few. She has a keen academic interest with multiple publications and conference presentations to her name and is a reviewer for multiple journals.
Dr Bipasha speaks English, Hindi, Bengali and Tamil.
