After completing MBBS from TD Medical College, Dr. Binu attained his diploma in orthopaedics from Calicut Medical College, and MS Orthopaedics from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India. He has also completed 1 year ISAKOS approved fellowship in Arthroplasty at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences.
Beside this Dr. Binu has done extensive research and has several international publications to his credit. He also received a gold medal for best paper presentation in an international knee symposium in 2009. He was involved in the undergraduate training programme of Amrita Medical College. He was also part of a research team which studied key areas in arthroplasty.
He keeps himself updated in his chosen field by attending conferences and workshops both local and international.
Dr. Binu has more than 13 years of experience in the field of orthopaedics and worked as a senior consultant in a tertiary care hospital in Kottayam, India, before moving to the UAE and joining NMC Healthcare as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon.
He specialises in knee surgeries and trauma cases and his special areas of interest are total knee arthroplasty, knee arthroscopy and general orthopaedics.
