Dr Ashok Kumar is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with 20 years of experience in the medical field. He completed M.B.B.S. and M.D.(Internal medicine) from prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He further pursued D.M. Gastroenterology from world renowned Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, India.
He was previously working at Jaypee Hospital, NOIDA as Unit Head and Consultant and served as Faculty at the premier institute of India, AIIMS, Rishikesh. He has independently carried out complex diagnostic and therapeutic advanced endoscopy procedures (>10000 Endoscopy procedures, >2000 ERCPs and >1000 EUS procedures) and was also mentoring fellows in Gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy training.
Dr Ashok carries more than 9 years of advanced therapeutic endoscopy and clinical gastroenterology experience. His area of expertise lies in performing advanced endoscopic procedures like endoscopic ultrasound, guided FNA/FNBs, ERCP, spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (biliary, luminal stenting). He is highly skilled in managing Pancreatic and biliary disease, IBD and IBS, Liver diseases (Fatty liver, Hepatitis B and C virus infections, autoimmune disorders), and the whole
spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases.
